Domaine Nicolas Rossignol 2022 Volnay, Burgundy

The fruit for this sexy Volnay comes from different plots located just below the 1er Crus in Volnay. Volnay is known for being feminine and I would say this Rossignol is too but, this feminine wine has some serious curves. More raspberries than cherry, along with deeper notes of plum and even a touch of blood orange. Creamy and palate filling, this wine leaves a stain that you won’t even want to remove. Generous and round but with a tingle of acidity and tannin on the finish. Think hearty.
