Domaine Roland Schmitt 2025 Pinot Gris, Alsace, France

For the past twenty vintages, this wine has been our best selling Alsace wine.  The impeccable, clean fruit is the reason—a quintessential Pinot Gris.  Textbook.  Most of the fruit for this wine comes from the excellent Glintzberg vineyard in Bergbieten. This is a classic dry expression of this grape with a nose of hazelnuts, with some mango and tropical notes. The wine is unctuous in the mouth, but remains dry with good acidity and length. Very food friendly, this will go as easily with fish and shellfish as it does with exotic cooking and spicy food.
