Domaine Tawse 2020 Volnay 1er Cru "Fremiets", Burgundy

"The 2020 Volnay Les Fremiets ler Cru has a lot of reduction on the nose, though I appreciate the fruit profile of black cherries and blueberries. Some warmth comes through with aeration and blurs the edges. The palate is medium-bodied, as it is made in a reductive style, but it works. It has just the right amount of dryness, with plenty of cracked black pepper laced with tobacco towards the finish."--Vinous
