Domaine Tawse 2022 Volnay 1er Cru "Fremiets", Burgundy

The latest release of Marchand Tawse’s Fremiets is quite impressive from the glorious dark ruby appearance to its soulful aroma to it’s full and plush texture.  This wine is from 60 year old vines owned by the domaine, and there is no fining nor filtration.  When the fruit comes through in the aroma and flavor, there is a hint of light-toast oak (just 30% new) apparent.  The flavors are showing well now, even at this juncture.
