“The 2023 Pinot Blanc was picked on the sandy soils of the Clos des Capucins. A blend of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois, this was made in two foudres, one of which was new. The nose is shy, offering just a hint of pear juice and some smoke, but the palate unpacks real ripe fruitiness and bright freshness. A creamy aspect reminds of that new foudre.
