This light- to medium-bodied Pinot Gris expresses a pure balance between sweetness and acidity, which leads to a long-lasting finish and a mouth-watering sensation. The historical enclosed plot stretches over 5 hectares, protected by the ancient walls of the Capuchin monastery. Weinbach’s historical monopole vineyard is planted with all Alsatian grape varieties, with a sand silt soil on granite pebbles. Clos des Capucins is an early-ripening terroir producing fruit-forward wines.”
