Fabrice Larochette 2023 Chardonnay Bourgogne Blanc, Burgundy

Farmed just outside the Macon appellation in southern Burgundy, the grapes for this family-owned medium-weight white wine have produced a clean, firm, straightforward and pleasant white wine that doesn’t get in the way of the foods you throw at it.  It’s Chardonnay without all the excess.  The winery suggests pairing this wine with cold meats, oysters, summer salads and with goat cheeses.  It's also ideal as a starter.
