Francois Chidaine 2025 Touraine Sauvignon, Loire Valley

Making his name as a top producer of Chenin Blanc, for years François Chidaine has offered one of our most popular Sauvignon Blancs grown in the Touraine.  Not as deep or as rambunctious as Sancerre, Chidaine’s Sauvignon is a bit rounder, easier to swallow and friendlier overall.  Still, it maintains all of the Loire brightness we look for.  Importer’s notes:  Minerals and citrus are packed into this beauty that shows surprising length and complexity for the appellation. This is a great lower-priced alternative to the popular sauvignons produced in the eastern Loire valley.
