Gimonnet Gonet NV Champagne L'Origine Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs

Founded in 1986 by the children of two longtime Champagne producing families. Located in Grand Cru Chardonnay country, most of the vines being an average age of forty years. Grand Cru Chardonnay like this is something a touch harder to find these days, winemakers longing to make more laser sharp expressions of Chardonnay, this Gimonnet Gonet offers that classic Blanc de Blancs flavor, and texture. Baked green apples, warmed hazelnuts, doughy yeasted bread. Dry on the finish but with some toasty notes.
