Description
Winemaker Chantal Gitton, daughter of the founder, has fashioned an impressive Sancerre by aging not in stainless steel, but vinifying and aging in older demi-muid casks to enhance the texture. There is a lightly exotic perfume to the wine, and the flavor is a clean, more neutral side to Sauvignon Blanc. A medium-weight Sancerre with a very satisfying, impressively long, minerally finish.
