When you look at Veuve Clicquot, and their million plus cases I would still qualify this as a “little guy”. The domaine exports 70% of their production so it’s even rare to find a bottle of this Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs in France. I brought this in because it is so reminiscent of the classic idea of Blanc de Blancs. Delicate, citrus and green apple, river stones and unbaked bread. Tiny, lacy little bottles with a finish of lemon curd on toast with a kiss of caramel.
