H. Billiot Fils N.V. Champagne Grand Cru "Cuvee Laetitia", Ambonnay

Laetitia is a top of the line bottling for H. Billiot that was created by Serge Billiot for his daughter Laetitia, who is now the winemaker for the domaine. Made of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, this is a very rich and very generous, luscious bottle of Champagne.The base wine is from 2014 but the majority of the wine, 85% in fact, is a solera blend of vintage dating back to 1983. Mouth coating, seductive and with a finish that does not quit. Very limited and a true treat.
