Hatzidakis 2023 Santorini Familia Assyrtiko, Santorini Greece

Assyrtiko wines from Santorini are typically bone-dry and citrus driven with an intense vein of minerality from the volcanic soils in which the vines are grown.  Hatzidakis’ Assyrtiko is a great example of this acclaimed white wine, serious in style and better paired with food.  This wine is medium to full bodied with great length on the palate.  A great match for Mediterranean seafood dishes or even Greek lemon chicken.
