Tenuta Il Falchetto 2025 'Pian Scorrone' Barbera d'Asti, Piedmont

The Fornos have a long history in Santo Stefano Belbo, documented as early as the mid-1600’s. Still today, maps of the area show the Cascina Forno, also known as Il Falchetto Estate.

Coming from a family of winegrowers and wine lovers, Pietro Forno began producing and selling the first bottles of Moscato in 1940.

At the beginning of ‘70s Pietro passes the reins of the winery to his sons Natalino and Luigi, who renovated the cellar introducing new machines for a better control of alcoholic fermentations and buying new vineyards. They continued to work with passion and innovation, always respecting the tradition and the territory.
