La Cabotte 2024 Cotes du Rhone Blanc "Colline", Rhone Valley

A small amount of the popular Cotes du Rhone producer’s production is given over to white wine, so this bottle is extra special.  Brown biodynamically, hand-harvested, indigenous yeast fermented, stainless steel aged, you’d think this wine was twice the price.  Made up of a third each Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Clairette, the nose shows subtle hints of stone fruit while still remaining extremely fresh and explosive.  Fresh cut hay and citrus lead into a wine with excellent acidity and good mineral notes.  Long and clean, this vibrant wine will keep you coming back.  Very high-toned for a wine from this area.
