Michel Chauvet, winemaker at Lancelot Royer is an absolute traditionalist when it comes to making Champagne. Everything from the picking of grapes to the disgorgement of each bottle are done by hand at the domaine. Lancelot Royer was founded in 1960 and owns only Grand Cru Chardonnay vines. This extraordinary value is an explosive Blanc de Blancs with incredible richness and length. Baked stone fruit, pie crust, citrus and a touch of caramelized nuts. Beautiful for sipping but this much richness makes this wine perfect for seafood, tempura and salty snacks.
