Aged for 7-8 years in Bourbon Barrels, this Campbeltown Whisky has a bold smoke characteristic that is always present, but never too aggressive as to take away from the other lovely flavors this Scotch has. Rich notes of vanilla pair with an herbal quality that reminds me a bit of basil. A note of red apple adds a nice depth to the flavor profile, the smoke lingers nicely.
