Madame de Beaucaillou is a separate property owned by the classified 2^nd growth Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou of St. Julien. This wine is an impressive Merlot-dominant red with the same type of rich, dark ruby viscous appearance you find in the $100+ elite wine.  Fasten your seatbelt with this one.  There is a mouth-filling texture, packed with intense fruit and a tannic grip that gives a puckery, very drying finish.  A powerful wine at a fraction of the cost of the mother ship.  Bring on the ribeye!
