Description
This is a Pouilly-Fuisse with a good deal of ambition. With a touch of toasted oak on the aroma, light straw colord hue, viscous, rich-looking appearance, Manoir du Capucin's premier cru bottling has a luxurious mouthfeel at entry, then the backbone asserts itself. There is ripe fruit here; it would be understandable if you mistook this wine for a Cote d'Or white wine for all its elegance. This exceptional bottle can be cellared for awhile, if you wish.
