Marine & Paul Charavin 2025 Coteaux des Travers Cotes du Rhone Blanc "Zouzou", Rhone

I have to search far and wide to find white southern Rhone wines I don’t find oily, herbaceous and weirdly unable to pair with what I like to eat.  Of course there are a handful of exceptions, like this fun Cotes du Rhone Blanc from the Charavins.  Using Marsanne (which I don’t see much in the southern Rhone), Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, there emerges a lovely floral aroma followed by a fresh taste and minerally finish.  It’s a dry wine with enough clean-tasting fruit to make it versatile at the table.
