Coming from the vineyard known as “Jessie’s Grove”, these vines were planted in 1900. The wine itself was aged in old wood barrels for 1 year and spent 1 year in bottle before being released.
Description
An overall soft profile, with roasted fruit and delicate baking spices. A flavor similar to licorice helps elongate the spice characteristics while also pulling out more black fruit on the finish.
