“The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet has a fresh and delineated bouquet with dewy green apple and grass clipping scents – très Puligny. The palate is well balanced with an attractive, slightly pithy texture."
Description
For the last 30 years, the Paul Pernot wines have maintained exquisite delicacy and poise while remaining rich, ripe and with the structure to age. The property sells over 60% of its production to négociants, saving only the cream of the crop for its own bottlings, which are Puligny-Montrachet at its very best. The estate maintains a traditional approach to winemaking with very little having changed at the domaine in the last four decades.
“The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet has a fresh and delineated bouquet with dewy green apple and grass clipping scents – très Puligny. The palate is well balanced with an attractive, slightly pithy texture, though I would have liked a little more tension and nerve on the finish.”
