From the 2006 first release of 65 cases, he and his wife Angela Reat now produce up to 5,000 cases under the Love & Squalor label, including this fun white wine, which we fell in love with at first sip.
Fashioned from Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc, it is a playfully charming white wine with an appealing and distinctive aromatic character. There is a nice core of fruit following through to its pleasing, clean finish.
The name implies this might be a good wine for shellfish, but I suspect many of you will shuck that and just enjoy this tasty glass of white on its own. We’re told a portion of the proceeds of this wine goes to help endangered walruses. If that’s true, the more you drink, the more you help those giant love bugs.
