Racines 2021 Grand Reserve Sparkling Chardonnay, Sta. Rita Hills

This wine is sourced from Wenzlau Family Vineyard, Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, La Rinconada and Bentrock Vineyard. The varying soil types of these three distinct sites lend to an elegant, expressive wine with great minerality and length.  Aged on the lees for 30 months before disgorging.

“The NV (2021) Sparkling Grand Reserve is deliciously spiced and alive in the glass. It spent two years en tirage on the lees after 50% blocked malolactic fermentation, emerging as a very chiseled, laser-focused sparkling wine with notes of chalk, green apple, clove and nervy, salty acids.
