Redwood Empire "Devils Tower" High Rye Bourbon Whiskey, California

Bold rye and vibrant oak spice hit your palate first, in that spice there is a little smokiness, not like peat smoke by any means, but a subtle smokiness most likely from the level 3 char on the barrels. There is some noticeable fruit, notes of apple, mango and peach, more floral rye on the finish.
