Vincent de Saint-Denis 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru "Clos des Ormes", Burgundy

Vincent de Saint Denis is the second label of Domaine des Beaumont, and the wine is made by Thierry Beaumont.  Clos des Ormes is situated just below the Grand Cru Clos de la Roche, a prestigious terroir.  Winery notes:  “An inviting bouquet of red cherry, raspberry and crushed strawberries layered with delicate floral notes of rose petals and hints of forest floor.  On the palate, the wine is elegant and poised, with a silky texture and fine-grained tannins that frame the fruit beautifully.  Subtle undertones of clove, cedar, and earthy minerality add complexity without overwhelming the purity of the Pinot Noir.  The finish is long, fresh and refined, showcasing vibrant acidity and a graceful balance that highlights the finesse of this Premier Cru site in a classic vintage.  Ideal for near-term enjoyment, but also worthy of cellaring for added nuance.”
