This is a great buy for any Nebbiolo fan. 100% Nebbiolo from the Alto Piedmont area just outside of Lessona. Generous and fun, yet serious and pure at the same time. Classic black cherry fruits with notes of leather and spice. Enjoy!

Coste della Sesia is a wine region in Northern Piedmont where the Nebbiolo grape has been cultivated for hundreds of years and was once more famous than the now more famous Barolo region. Post WWll many people left the area for work in the large cities, so the wine industry declined. Now the Northern Piedmont wine regions are seeing a resurgence and garnering attention for producing high quality Nebbiolo wines.
