Chateau d'Arche 2019 Sauternes Grand Cru, Bordeaux Half Bottle

Chateau d’Arche was among the handful of wines included in the famous 1855 classification.  In other words, they’ve been at this sweet wine thing for a long, long time.  We found the 2019 vintage very appealing.  On the nose, the wine offers up a beautiful mandarin liqueur aroma and an oak touch with a pastry note.  Very rich and generous on the palate, yet retaining wonderful acidity. This wine is balanced and offers up a beautifully lingering finish.
