Von Buhl 2020 Riesling Sekt Brut Sparkling Wine, Pfalz

The great Von Buhl estate has gone through several owners and much change during the 30 years we’ve been carrying their wines, but one thing that’s always impressed is their sparkling wine program, once led by a former Bollinger cellarmaster and now includes this dry, complex bubbly.  There is a bit of yeast on the nose then some very intriguing flavors.  Again, I reiterate:  there is no sweetness in this sparkling Riesling.
