Wine Buyer for France, Champagne & Sparkling Wines, and Rosé

Maelyn is a native of the Bay Area, but is no stranger to Southern California. She earned diplomas from UC Irvine for Biology and USC for Dental Hygiene. She spent a long career as a pediatric dental hygienist, specializing in working with children with special needs. Working with children with physical disabilities and behavioral challenges brought her immense joy.

Having grown up so close to Napa, wine has always been a part of her life. With a background in science, an affinity for history, and a palate for culinary arts, once she started a deep dive into wine, she has never looked back.

She was working as a sommelier and at a fine wine retailer in Silicon Valley before making the move to Long Beach. Maelyn has proudly earned her WSET 2 and WSET 3 certifications. When she is not at the Wine Country, she has her head down in books and is in blind tastings for the grueling WSET diploma program. She is thrilled to share everything she has learned with the Wine Country community!
