WINE COUNTRY ON THE ROX- AGAVE NIGHT
Join us November 30th at The Exhibition Room for our second The Wine Country on the Rox where we will be tasting Mijenta Tequila and Bozal Mezcal. Agave has become the fastest-growing spirit category the last 3 years. The popularity of Tequila has made fans of the spirit adventure into Mezcal and die-hard Mezcal fans have been given more options (in brands and in species of Agave used) than ever before. Bozal has been a staple in our store since 2016 and is a go to for some Mezcal costumers. While Mijenta is a newer addition (first brought in, in 2022) it has become a crowd favorite.
Joining us on the 30th, with the ability to deep dive into Bozal, will be Andrei Kissin, the West Coast Market Manager for the importer of Bozal. Andrei and I worked together for a distribution company, and I was always impressed with the amount of knowledge he had for the products in our book. Now that he is able to focus on one importer’s book instead of the multiple ones we used to work with, I can only imagine that well of knowledge has gotten deeper.
On the 30th you will get to taste Mijenta’s Blanco and Reposado along with 3 different Agave expressions from Bozal. What a fun way to explore the world of Agave without traveling to Jalisco and Oaxaca.
